Fundraiser for Omarion ‘Mars’ Humphrey Memorial at Lake Callis [PHOTO]

The community is hoping to raise enough money to purchase a memorial to be erected at Lake Callis, where Omarion passed away. 

9-year-old Omarion "Mars" Humphrey was found dead, after an intensive week-long search, at Lake Callis in Davison. The entire community, as well as surrounding communities, came together after his July 4th disappearance. His friends and family are holding a fundraiser on Monday, July 27th at 5 PM at the Lake Callis Pavilion in Davison to raise money for a memorial to honor him.

Because Omarion was on the autism spectrum, any remaining money raised will be donated to the Autism Safety Coalition.
