Michigan Grocery Stores Giving Away Free Boxes For Daylight Saving Time
The time change is a pain. Kroger stores in Michigan are giving away free goodie boxes that hopefully will take some of the sting out of switching to Daylight Saving Time.
Springing forward (this year on March 9) means more daylight in the evening but it's a bit of a shock to the system. Kroger is giving away what they refer to as the 'Hour Back Box,' full of items to make mornings easier after losing an hour of sleep.

Starting on March 4 at noon, Kroger will be giving away the 'Hour Back' boxes which contain breakfast items like cold brew concentrate, oat milk creamer, and breakfast sandwiches. According to a press release from Kroger, recipients also get a coupon for a one-year Boost membership.
If you miss out, you can still claim one of 39,000 Our Brands breakfast items starting on March 7 at noon.
