Blake is on his way to Texas from Genesee County Animal Control to start his training, and you can help!

He was brought into GCAC and, according to shelter volunteers, wasn't doing well. So, volunteer Sharon Sperow decided to take him home and allow him to "decompress" outside of the shelter environment.

After a few months, she realized that Blake had a lot of potential. She started working with him and realized that he's very focused and intelligent. Sharon did some digging on information about K-9 police detection dogs and realized that Blake fit the mold perfectly.

Congrats, Blake! And thank you to Sharon for seeing something in him!
