Flushing Evening 5k Run/Walk Wednesday June 8th

Don't forget your water bottle!  The Flushing Evening 5k run and walk is tomorrow night, starting at 6:15 at Flushing High School.  Temperatures are expected to be well into the 90's, so this might not be the night to chase after a personal best. 

On the bright side, this is always a fun race as it kicks off the Flushing Summerfest.  The race finishes downtown with runners/walkers travelling the parade route near the end of the race.  The parade starts at 7 pm after the race, so meet up with family and friends and make a night of it!  Race day registration is available beginning at 4:30 pm at the High School.  Directions/more information on the race:  www.riverbendstriders.com
