Flint Sorority Makes Blankets for Shelter Animals

They wanted to help animals but didn't know how to best do it...until now.

Ladies at the Theta Phi Alpha-Beta Lambda sorority at the University of Michigan-Flint have taken to making tie blankets, but they're not keeping them for themselves - they're donating them to Adopt-A-Pet.

The group collected old towels and blankets to turn them into tie blankets, which will keep the shelter animals warm at night until they're adopted. And, let's be honest...those blankets will probably follow them to their furrrever homes.

Thank you, ladies, for smashing the sorority stereotype. I'm sure the animals will thank you, too.
