Flint PD Will Bring In Therapy Dog for Victims – The Good News [VIDEO]
Welcome "King" to the force, everybody.
Obviously, there's no "good news" when it comes to crime, but it's part of life. It's something that happens. And who better to comfort the victims than...a dog?
The Flint Police Department is bringing in King, a therapy dog who has been certified after months of training. His owner, Cathy Young, said that the only thing he really had a problem with was...sausage. In one of his training exercises, he had to walk past a sausage patty without eating it. That one was difficult. *cue giggles*
King will be used primarily to help victims who have been removed from unsafe homes - mostly children that would be waiting on social workers.
