More community organizations are stepping up to provide water for Flint residents when they state has decided to stop doing so.

And this isn't the first time - the food pantry held several water drives back in 2016, and they consistently hold food drives as well.

Their Facebook post reads:

Given the recent news regarding the end of the state funded water distributions, we at the FMFP want to act quick and ensure that we have water for the families that visit our food pantry on Saturdays.

Please spread the word for donations, so that we can help as many families as possible. Details of when and where to drop off water donations, are in the flyer.
Thank you very much!

The water drive will be this Friday and next Friday from 3-5 PM. Thank you for helping your fellow Flintstones!
