Flint Man Named ‘Mentor Of The Year’ by Governor – The Good News [VIDEO]
Congratulations, Sam Wells!
Wells has served as a mentor with Esquire Mentoring & Leadership for the last 20 years. It's a program that helps African American men from Genesee County lead successful lives through volunteering.
And now, he'll be honored by the Governor next month as the "Mentor Of The Year" on August 21st at the Detroit Opera House.
This isn't his full-time job, either. This is something he does on the side of working for an auto supplier in Troy. Well done, Sam! Proud to have you in our community!
