Flint Firebirds President Ousted After Conduct Deemed ‘Prejudicial’
The president of the Flint Firebirds organization has been expelled from the Ontario Hockey League. The announcement came Thursday that Terry Christensen would be out after an investigation concluded that his conduct was 'prejudicial to the welfare of the league.'

Ontario Hockey League Commissioner David Branch made the announcement at the conclusion of the investigation.
Christensen's Remarks Violated OHL's Abuse / Diversity Policy
The OHL made the announcement on its website, stating that remarks made by Christensen violated the league's Harassment and Abuse / Diversity Policy. No further explanation of any statements made by Christensen is available at this time.
The investigation began after an allegation was brought forward via the OHL's player communications system, according to the OHL.
TSN reports that Christensen had been suspended by the league on March 5, after complaints were reported on February 20 of this year.
Christensen's History:
Christensen, a 67-year-old native of Minnesota, has previously served in various capacities for other teams, including the head coach of the US entry at the 1988 World Junio Hockey Championships, assistant coach for Michigan State University, and head coach of ECHL clubs Tallahassee Tiger Sharks and Miami Matadors.
