I would say the same thing if I was having a heart attack - SAVE THE SOD!

Melissa Work posted the heartwarming story to her Facebook and it's been shared almost 70,000 times since Sunday.

Her husband and brother-in-law were working on laying sod at their Florida home when her husband had a "massive heart attack." She said that it had been a stressful issue since their HOA date was approaching and they'd be fined if they didn't finish (cue all of the reasons I hate HOAs right here).

While he was waiting for first responders, in the middle of his heart attack, he kept telling her to make sure that the sod was laid, because he didn't want it to go to waste. So, her brother-in-law stayed back to finish.

And then, he heard trucks coming down the street. Seven EMTs and firefighters came out, put gloves on and started to help to lay the rest of the sod. They knew that her husband wouldn't be able to do any physical activity for a while, so they decided to help.

What they didn't know is that Melissa is having a bone marrow transplant next month, or that their HOA was about to fine them. Little things, for sure.
