‘Fashion Against Bullying’ Show This Weekend in Flint – The Good News [VIDEO]
It's a combination of a campaign against bullying and a Flint woman's modeling school.
"I'm so excited because they're all amazing young people who just needed a little push, they just needed someone to believe in them."
Tracy Palmer is the owner of Trendsetters Productions. And this Saturday night, inside the old Burlington department store at Genesee Valley Center, 47 models ranging in age from 6 to 27-years-old will hit the runway. And a lot of them have experienced bullying.
There will be healthcare professionals at the event, and all proceeds go to Palmer's campaign, Try To Bully Me.
Palmer wants them to know that it's okay to be who you are, and wants to use this event to help them to build confidence. Some of the participants will be showcasing their own fashion line for the first time, too.
