Family-Friendly Plaza being Planned for Genesee Towers Site

When the Genesee Towers are demolished, plans call for a family-friendly plaza with a science theme to be built in its place.

WNEM reports that the site will be transformed into Exploration Park which would include a hands-on outdoor science museum that features a xylophone, wind towers and a sun dial.

Two streets have also been closed in preparation for the demolition which could come in December. The road closures are expected in the area into the spring.
