Educators to ‘Wear Red for Ed’ Wednesday [VIDEO]

Teachers and Educators across Genesee County and the US will be wearing red Wednesday, (1/11) to show disapproval of Betsy DeVos' appointment as Secretary of Education.

Educators across the US have denounced Donald Trump's pick for the cabinet seat, claiming she lacks the necessary experience to fill the position.

"We are very concerned because you now have someone who is going to be dictating public education policy for the entire country with no background of experience," Frank Burger tells ABC-12. Burger is President of the Carman Ainsworth Education Association.

The 'Wear Red for Ed' Facebook page has over 6,000 followers.
