A memorial service is planned for tomorrow, November 10th, to remember the 29 men who died when the SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior in 1975. The ceremony from 6-8pm will also offer the chance to see artifacts and photographs of the ship. The event is held in River Rouge, Michigan because that is the city where the vessel was built. At 7:10pm - the time that the ship sank - a wreath will be tossed into the Detroit River. A bell will be rung 29 times in memory of each person who died.
