Happy Cat-a-versary To Our Very Own Kitty from AJ’s Animals!

He was featured on AJ's Animals last year, and we adopted him one year ago today!

Every Monday on the show, we invite the Humane Society of Genesee County into the studio and highlight one of their available animals. Little Charlie came into the studio...and fell asleep in my arms.

I was in love. I knew that I had to bring him home, so I started my journey of convincing Pat.

The next day, I picked him up and made him part of our family.

The first day was rough, while we introduced him to Rigby, our Savannah cat.

It only took a couple of days for them to warm up to each other...

But eventually they all became friends, and they're now a "tribe."

Today is his one-year-anniversary with us, and we've loved every second of it. Adopting a cat from the humane society has been one of the most fulfilling things we've ever done, and we recommend it to everybody. To our little Charlie, CharDee MacDennis, Biggie Meows, Cat of Cats...thank you for being part of our family.
