Donate Fleece-Tie Blankets for First-Time Chemotherapy Patients

For well over a year now, I have been the official host and emcee for a great local group.  The Fabulous Ladies Small Business Club is a gathering where local women can network and have a fun night out.

We also do charity work for a variety of great causes.  We've raised money for a family that lost everything in a house fire over Thanksgiving weekend, and we helped collect $5,400 for five-year-old Caila who needed Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

This time, we are teaming up with the Lindsay-J Project to collect fleece-tie blankets for first-time chemotherapy patients.  You can make and donate a fleece-tie, and there is no sewing necessary.  Or you can drop off two yards of two different colors of fleece material.  Bring a blanket or material and get a free 50/50 raffle ticket!

We meet tonight (March 15th), and the third Friday of each month at Sharky's Sports Bar at Bristol and Center Roads in Burton from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.  I'll be your host, and we promise a good time for everyone!  We'll have door prizes from our vendors, 50/50 raffle drawings every hour, a silent auction and a whole lot more!  Gentlemen are always welcome so come out, have some fun, and help make a difference for first-time chemotherapy patients!
