Dogs Rescued from Meat Farm Up for Adoption in Michigan – The Good News
The Humane Society of Midland County says that they are "eager" for human affection.
Five dogs made the long trip from a South Korean meat farm to Midland, where they will be groomed and put up for adoption.
This is the 14th time that the Humane Society International has been able to shut down a large-scale South Korean dog meat farm. Dog meat festivals are popular throughout the country and they don't just shut the farms down; they teach the farmers other job skills.
If you're interested in adopting one of these rescued dogs, you're asked to physically visit the Humane Society of Midland County. Facebook and phone inquiries will not be taken. The dogs are going to get groomed and receive one last vet visit before they're sent to their furrrever homes.
