It was Detroit's turn in the spotlight on Wednesday night's "American Idol."

The show featured some of the talent found in the Motor City when auditions were held at Ford Field last July. Those chosen from the Ford Field auditions then went in front of judges Harry Connick Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit last October.

While there were some hits (Maurice, Malaya, Jade and Keri Lynn), there were also some misses. Some websites like The Hollywood Reporter and The Star Ledger have said the Detroit auditions have yielded the best crop of talent so far. Auditions also continue tonight from 8 -10 p.m.

What did you think of last night's show? Do you see a potential "Idol" there? And are you enjoying the show again after all of the drama last season?
