Detroit Man Arrested in Ohio for Planning Mass Shooting in Michigan

A Detroit man has been arrested in Youngstown, Ohio after social media posts indicated he was was planning a mass shooting.

Cameron White was arrested after he stated on social media that he was "planning a massive shooting real soon."

US Marshals say White was hiding in Ohio before executing his plan to carry out the mass shooting in Michigan.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said, “Immediate attention to this dangerous suspect by the Detroit police department and the U.S. Marshal’s task force in Detroit led to a swift and safe arrest by the task force in Youngstown. We will continue to partner with our state and local law enforcement agencies to keep suspects like White off the streets and our communities safe.”
