Keep an eye on your fur babies, folks.

A coyote on a mission hopped over a 6-foot-tall backyard fence at a home in Chesterfield Township. It appears as though the coyote became trapped; the mom of the house started recording on her cell phone. Luckily, their two dogs were safe inside the house.

It ended up getting out the same way it came in - by jumping the fence. The DNR is reminding Michiganders to keep all of their garbage and food inside so as to not attract the animals. Sometimes, they're drawn to bird feeders.

Coyotes are usually afraid of humans, but keep your pets on a leash.
