Cops try to stop 13-year-olds for selling cupcakes
A politician in a New York suburb called police on two 13-year-old boys for selling cupcakes and other baked goods without a permit. One councilman called the police after discovering the sale wasn't for charity. The boys were selling cupcakes, cookies, brownies and Rice Krispie treats for $1 each, but the councilman said that vendors have to have a license if they are selling items on town property. This would have cost them $15o to $350 for two hours and a $1 million insurance certificate is also required. Now the boys can't sell their product because they obviously can't afford the license. The councilman needs to get a life and worry about something else.
