Even the questionable weather couldn't keep hundreds of people away from raising money for a great cause!

One of the most incredible treasures we've found since moving to the Flint area is the Autism Support and Resource Center in Burton. Our son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum when he was just three years old. At the time, where we lived in Wisconsin, there weren't a lot of resources for us to seek out. His schools and teachers did a wonderful job of helping him, but there weren't many outlets for us as parents.

That's why we're so passionate about helping out with the ASRC. They've offered him (and us) so many great opportunities; from P.O.W.E.R. Camp at Copeneconic, to kids socials, to parent meetings, etc. We were thrilled that they asked us to emcee yesterday's event, and it was something I'll never forget.

Thanks again to Anne, Amy and everybody at the ASRC for asking us to be involved!
