Clio Home Renovated for Parents, Two Kids with Cancer – The Good News
Major kudos to ELGA Credit Union and over a dozen local contractors for doing this for the Neumann family!
The Neumann family of Clio is finally getting some much-needed renovations on their home. They haven't had time to do it on their own and for good reason.
Their son, Rowan, is in remission after battling leukemia for five years. And shortly after their third child Winnie was born, she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. All of their efforts and money went towards the well-being of their children.
Their church decided to step in when Rowan relapsed last year. They got over a dozen contractors together to do a "miracle makeover" for the family.
Winnie is currently doing well, and Rowan received a bone marrow transplant last fall. The contractors are also putting a special filtration system in the home.
If you'd like to donate, you can stop by any ELGA location. It really does take a village, doesn't it?
