Citizens Bank Sign on Flint Headquarters Changed

A Citizens Bank sign that once graced the front of the building at 328 S.Saginaw in downtown Flint is no more.

The purchase of Citizens Bank by FirstMerit out of Ohio was completed in April and the company said it would begin to rebrand all Citizens banks as FirstMerit.

For now, until all of the signs at all locations are changed, the company will be known as "Citizens Bank, now part of FirstMerit Bank" and will show the logos of both companies. The company will permanently drop the Citizens Bank name later in the year.
