Chicago Area Woman Dies After Injecting Face With Beef Fat

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, 63-year-old Janet Hardt was hospitalized shortly after she injected her face with heated beef fat -- talk about a botched plastic surgery procedure. However, authorities have determined her death was not from the injections. Find out more after the jump.

Hardt was rushed to Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill., Thursday Thursday, September 8th, with complaints that her face felt like it was burning and had become singed. An autopsy determined that Hardt died due to peritonitis, an inflammation of the abdomen’s inner wall.

Hardt reportedly injected her face with beef fat multiple times and also underwent multiple legit plastic surgery procedures.
