They partnered with the local American Legion to contact the veterans whose homes needed work.

Seniors at Chesaning Union High School took their day on Friday, November 1st to do some yard work for local veterans as their senior project.

Students were divided into two groups and bused off to the homes of local veterans who were contacted by a student representative through the Legion. The students did yard work while they visited with the veteran homeowners; they were "grateful" to hear so many wonderful stories while they worked.

What a wonderful way to spend the day! Thank you, Chesaning class of 2020!
