A day at Cedar Point will now set you back $62, a 3 percent increase over last year's price.

The increase reflects an increased admissions tax in Ohio, after voters approved a hike in the city income tax last fall, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

A park spokesman says most guests don't pay the full walk-up price. Discount tickets are available from many retailers and on their website.
