Burton Woman Celebrates 101st Birthday – The Good News [VIDEO]

Burton resident Mary Herrick (her loved ones call her Gigi) celebrated a pretty big birthday on Friday - her 101st. It was, most definitely, a Good Friday.

The staff and her fellow residents at The Pines of Burton threw her a party with a beachy cake and the Tigers playing their home opener in the background. One of the best parts of living at The Pines is that her childhood friend lives there, too.

If you ask her what the key is to long life, she says it's walking. She tries to get her steps in every day. She also shares a birthday with her great-granddaughter Vivian, which is pretty great, too.
