Burton Run/Walk This Weekend Raises Money for Disabled Veterans

It's the third year for this race, which will raise money for the Disabled American Veterans organization.

The Burton race series is popular with runners in Genesee County, with four races throughout the year. The last of these is the Veterans Honor Run, which will take place on Saturday morning.

The race is offered as an 11K run, and a 5K run or walk. It starts at 11:11 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church on Roberta St. It goes through Kelly Lake Park and ends up back at the church.

It's not too late to register - you can do so HERE. It's sponsored by several local businesses including the Complete Runner, Michigan's Greatest Fudge, Hurley and more.
