Brokaw Stepping Away, Joe’s Not Giving Up, & Miley Heading to Tampa: The Dish

One of the greatest in the field of journalism is hanging up his hat. Tom Brokaw has announced he is formally retiring from NBC New after a stellar 55 year career at the network. Brokaw, who is 80 years old, is best know for anchoring the NBC Nightly News from 1982-2004 and has been a senior correspondent since.
Joe Exotic isn't backing down on trying for that pardon. Since Donald Trump failed him, Exotic is moving on to President Joe Biden. He's been sending emails to his team on the "outside" to get the ball rolling. Exotic, who has been in prison for two years now, is hopeful the new administration will see things his way. The Tiger King star, is currently serving a 22-year sentence behind bars after being convicted of plotting a murder-for-hire against his rival Carole Baskin.
Miley Cyrus is set to perform for some heroes at the Super Bowl this year in Tampa. The singer will be part of the Tik Tok Tailgate pre-show at Super Bowl LV in honor of the health care workers who will be attending the game and festivities. The NFL invited 7500 "health care heroes", who have already received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, to the big game this year. The TikTok Tailgate can be watched on February 7 at 2:30 p.m. ET, either on TikTok or CBS.
