A New Wonka, Super Bowl Performers, & Pardons: The Dish
All that's Hollywood and celebrity news...it's the Dish for Wednesday.
There's a new Wonka movie in the works. A Charlie and the Chocolate Factory prequel is being planned for release March 17, 2023 by Warner Bros. Titled Wonka, makers of the film are in talks currently with Tom Holland and Timothée Chalamet
Super Bowl LV is only a few weeks away and the talent line-up is growing. We already know that The Weekend will be headlining the halftime show, but now we know who will be singing the National Anthem. Country superstar Eric Church will join R&B/ Hip Hop star Jazmine Sullivan for the honors. The NFL also announced that H.E.R. will be performing "America the Beautiful". The big game will take place in Tampa Bay, Florida on February 7th.
Donald Trump issued 143 pardons in his last hours as president. Among those lucky to get a break were rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. One person who wasn't so lucky, and really wishes he was, was none other than Tiger King star Joe Exotic. Currently serving a 22 year sentence for his involvement in a murder-for-hire-plot, Exotic was so sure he was going to be sprung that he planned ahead. Exotic actually had a limo and hair & makeup person standing by. Needless to say...his time came and went for getting a "Get out of jail free" card.
Get the "Dish" every morning at 6:30am and 8:30am on Mornings with Clay & Lisa Marie.
