Blue, the Florida-to-Michigan Dog, Has Been Adopted!

We knew it wouldn't take long, but DANG that was quick!

Quick back story, in case you haven't been following:

Blue is a pit-mix puppy. She was found wandering around here in Michigan, and was brought to the Humane Society of Midland County. Luckily, she was microchipped and they found out that she made it all the way up here from Florida.

A generous volunteer from Grand Blanc, who wishes to remain anonymous, volunteered to drive the dog back to Florida. Yes, they DID call the owners first, in case you're wondering. They got down to Florida and the owner decided last minute that they didn't want her back.

Blue made her way back to Michigan, and was adopted YESTERDAY! Congratulations and best wishes for a happy life, Blue girl!
