The store offered her a new cake, but she declined.

Lisa Sarber Aldrich went to her local Meijer store in Caledonia to pick up a cake, and asked the employee to write on it. When she received it, she said that she didn't care that it looked bad. She brought it to the cashier, who called over other employees to look at it. One cashier said, "The girl who wrote that has autism. Thank you for smiling and thanking her- even though she's not supposed to write on cakes, you probably made her day."

Heart = melted. Our faith in humanity is restored.
