Best Places for a Kid’s Birthday Party in Flint – Erin’s Top Five

I don't have kids, but I have gone to a lot of friend's birthday parties for their children. I started thinking about this the other day because another friend is trying to figure out where to have her daughter's party. I decided to share a list of unique places where my friend's had their parties.

1. Sloan Museum

The first one that comes to mind is Sloan Museum. I remember thinking that my friend was very creative in coming up with this place to have a party. Usually you don't think about a museum for a birthday, but the kids and adults had a lot of fun. You could take part in their latest exhibit and have part of the place to yourself. You don't have to worry about the crowds. Even if you didn't choose Sloan, there are so many choices within the Flint Cultural Center.

2. Chuck E. Cheese's

Of course how could you not love a party at Chuck E. Cheese's? I think my friends and I had more fun than the kids! I still love to play ski ball and I remember I won a lot of tickets. Of course I gave the prizes to the birthday boy because that was the right thing to do. It's nice that there's a place close by in Flint on Miller Road.

3. Rollhaven Skating Arena

Another fun party was at Rollhaven Skating Arena. This one was great because when my friend booked the place, it included so many things such as food, a party table, balloons and more. They even set everything up for her. I haven't roller skated in a very very long time, so it brought back a lot of memories. Or if skating isn't your thing, they also offer laser tag.

4. Grand Blanc Lanes

My friend's son's said he wanted to go bowling for his next birthday party, so his parents decided to have it at Grand Blanc Lanes this year. You really can't go wrong with bowling. I've never been a good bowler, so it was really sad when a couple of eight-year-old's beat us. But we still had a blast and we didn't have to worry about the weather.

5. Physician's Park

When the weather is really nice, don't forget about the parks. There was a party at Physician's Park in Grand Blanc and it was a blast. There was a BBQ, the kids ran around on the playscape and just had a great time being outdoors. I have a summer birthday and I had my parties at the park and loved it. Another good place where the adults will have fun too.
