According to the official event Facebook page, the Labadie Rib Fest is a volunteer-operated event with proceeds going to local charities. The festival is currently looking for local charities and community groups that can provide volunteers in exchange for exposure and/or a momentary donation. Volunteers will handle operations like trash removal, ticket taking, VIP tent food service, and more. If that sounds like something you are interested in, just email info@baycityribfest.com for details.

It has been 10 years since the last Pig Gig. As you can imagine this event brings people from all over to Bay City. I for one am super excited to see it return, even under a new name. I look forward to seeing you at the Labadie Rib Fest in July.
