Banned PSA Will Make You Think Twice About Speeding [VIDEO]

While I am all about promoting road safety, I think this PSA might go just a little to far. It was banned before it ever aired in Northern Ireland, but has still sparked a huge debate.

While some say it is "poorly put together and unrealistic", while others say, "This advert wouldn't be there if there wasn't a problem." Mark Durkan, Northern Ireland's Environment Minister, defended the video stating, "The aim of this campaign is to challenge and dispel, once and for all, through this emotional and uncomfortable message, the false perceptions that many road users have as to the truly horrifying consequences of speeding."

The numbers don't lie.  Speeding in Northern Ireland has killed enough children to fill a typical classroom.  Do you think there is a better way to convey this message?
