An Army Soldier from Flint Proposed to His Girlfriend at the Big House
Gotta go, there's something in my eye.
This is one of those rare times where EVERYBODY can root for the maize and blue, amirite?
Army Sergeant Nathan Tuttle, who hails from Flint, was recognized at the Big House during Saturday's football game against (how appropriate) the Army Black Knights. He's been serving in Romania and was honored during the second quarter of the game as the Hometown Hero.
Tuttle said that he was a ball of nerves before running onto the field and that he was happy to "hide" in the tunnel until it was time. Luckily, his girlfriend Emily said YES and the two are now planning their wedding.
Tuttle also says that he was rooting for U of M.
Congratulations and thank you for your service!
