I get a lot of offers and see a great deal of "sign up now to get ____" propaganda in my news feed, but I rarely share them with you here or on my social media channels.

But I wanted to give you the heads-up on this one because (in my opinion) it's easy to sign up for and you don't have to spend any money in order to receive a $200 Amazon gift card.

And just to be clear, I'm not affiliated with Amazon (except seeing their drivers on a regular basis) and I am not getting paid or receiving any type of compensation for sharing this offer with you. I just wanted you to know about it.

The Difference Between This and Other Offers

I've been playing this game a long time and have taken advantage of myriad bank and credit card deals that offer to pay a sign-up bonus - usually anywhere from $100 to $300 - after you spend a certain amount, sometimes as much as $5,000 during a 30, 60, or 90-day period.

But this offer has no such stipulations. You simply get a $200 Amazon virtual gift card (it lands in your account instantly) if you apply and are approved for the Prime Visa card.

My wife signed up over the weekend, was immediately approved, and saw the $200 gift card balance on her account just minutes later. (Unfortunately, I'm ineligible because I already have this card.)

The Nuts and Bolts of the Offer:

Here is the link to apply for the card. According to CreditCards.com, you'll need good to excellent credit, meaning a credit score of 670 to 850. You also must be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of the offer.

I was unable to find an expiration date for this offer, but it obviously could be pulled at any time. Some restrictions apply, blah, blah, blah.
