A ‘Scary Moment’ At The Mundy Township Meijer Last Night

The store was evacuated. Were you there?

The Meijer store on Hill road in Mundy township was evacuated last night. Somebody smelled gas. It happened shortly before 9 p.m. Consumers Energy came to the rescue. An all clear was given after about an hour.

That can be very scary. The same thing happened to me many years ago when I was at a local Flint restaurant. The difference in my case... there was a gas leak.
