Go ahead, take my money.

Shouldn't really be a surprise to anybody, but Kroger is now onboard with the grocery home-delivery service, a la Amazon and Meijer Shipt.

It's not much different from the latter two, either. Kroger is partnering with Instacart - one of their shoppers will fulfill your order within two hours, seven days per week. Orders must be over $10, and you can sign up for an Instacart Express account, where you pay yearly, much like Amazon Prime.

Here's the rub - they're playing an Uber surge game, too. Some orders may include "busy pricing" during peak times.

Still, if your dream is to never leave the house and exist with your kids and/or cats (like me), this is just another step in the right direction.
