Would you also believe that he didn't start riding until he was 73-years-old?

Tom Marx had a brother who died from Multiple Sclerosis, and a daughter who was diagnosed with it. She was told that there were no treatments, and basically to go home and wait to be in a wheelchair.

He was inspired by his other daughter, who did a 100-mile-ride for MS. He went out and bought a bike, and started riding. He now rides anywhere from 15-25 miles per day.

This weekend, he'll be biking 200 miles in the Bavarian Breakout in Frankenmuth.

He and his wife own an excavating company in Bay City, and his ultimate goal is to raise $5 million, but he's realistic and is aiming more towards $50,000.
