8-Year-Old Adopted Twin Girls Hear Their Mom’s Voice For The First Time [VIDEO]
Their names are Ruby and Kate Shasteen, and the twin girls, who were recently adopted from Ethiopia, just had their cochlear implants activated, and were able to hear their parents' voices for the very first time.
One year ago their futures seemed hopeless, living in complete silence in an Ethiopian orphanage. But Chris and Al Shasteen adopted the girls, who technically aren't related biologically, and welcomed them into the Sand Springs home, near Tulsa Oklahoma.
I had to choke back a lump in my throat when I watched this!
