41 Once Shaved His Head for Secret Service Agent’s Son with Leukemia – The Good News
In honor of our national day of mourning, a lovely story about former President Bush.
The U.S. Secret Service tweeted this out yesterday - back in 2013, George H.W. Bush learned that the son of one the men on his security detail had been diagnosed with leukemia at the young age of 2.
His daughter, Robin, had passed of childhood leukemia at the age of 3 back in 1953.
He also learned that his security team were planning on shaving their heads in honor of the little boy, so the President decided to shave his head, too. He shared it on his personal Twitter page in 2016.
And, in case you're wondering, that's the little boy in the picture on the right with a full head of hair.
