4-Year-Old Leaves Home, Hops Bus at 3 AM for a Slushie [VIDEO]

Every parent's worst nightmare? Yes. But it's hard not to giggle a little bit.

4-year-old Annabelle woke up in the middle of the night, in search of a snack. In the typical child adage of "there's nothing to eat," she went in search of a slushie. On a Philadelphia bus.

She trotted out the back door of her home and caught a bus at 2:58 AM. The bus driver, Harlan Jenifer, called the police, while other passengers comforted her. She told them that all she wanted "was a slushie."

Glad that this had a happy ending! My dad slept-walked onto a city bus once when he was a kid, so to be honest, this story didn't really surprise me. Thank goodness for the bus driver and the patrons!
