October 22, 2011 Being the owner of a big needy dog I can truly relate to this story. My dog Claire, always has to be the center of attention or in the middle of everything we do. A dog may be man’s best friend, but one canine couldn't resist the urge to ruin a man’s marriage proposal.

October 3, 2011 'Til "two years" do us part!
If you'd rather lease than own, this may be for you. Officials in Mexico City are considering a proposal that would replace the traditional marriage license with a two-year contract. The bill is being considered because of the high rate of divorce, and because of the legal entanglement involved when a marriage ends in divorce.

28-year-old Jeff Gurwin proposed to his girlfriend Caitlin Fitzsimons, 27, by painting a "proposal mural" at Avenue A & 22nd Street in New York City. The Village Voice reports that Jeff chose the Scrabble theme because Jeff loves the game, and got Caitlin interested in it.

May 18, 2011 This marriage proposal outdoes them all! Georgia resident Matt Still was looking for a creative way to ask his girlfriend Ginny Joiner to marry him. He found one!

May 12, 2011 We have to give this guy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania a big gold star for creativity. He put together a flash mob as a marriage proposal. The guy's fiancée is a fan of flash mob videos, so he decided to use theater majors from a university to create his own.
