Flint Weekend Events

If you're not sure what to do this weekend, there are always events going on in downtown Flint. Don't forget that it's Free Target Saturday's at the Flint Institute of Arts. Stop by to check out the latest exhibits or catch their latest featured film. Tonight is also their annual wine tasting. I went last year and it was a lot of fun. The CSI Exhibit is still going on at the Sloan Museum. The Pierson Doll Collection is also on display at the museum.There are always a variety of shows going on at The Whiting. This weekend, you can see The Color Purple. And don't forget about the Flint Farmers' Market, which is probably one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday morning.

While you're there, try some french toast at Steady Eddy's Cafe or stop by the Market Bakery for some coffee and scones. And of course you can find fresh fruits, vegetables and a lot of other great vendors. Have a great weekend!
