If you're not sure what to do this weekend, there are always events going on in downtown Flint. Don't forget that it's Free Target Saturday's at the Flint Institute of Arts. Stop by to check out the latest exhibits or catch their latest featured film. Tonight is also their annual wine tasting. I went last year and it was a lot of fun. The CSI Exhibit is still going on at the Sloan Museum. The Pierson Doll Collection is also on display at the museum.
With Valentine's Day on the horizon, what could be more fitting than a visit from one of the most romantic pianists in America? Jim Brickman, with special guest Anne Cochran, performs tonight at 8pm at The Whiting.
You've seen them on "Whose Line is it Anyway?" and "Just for Laughs." On January 22, Colin and Brad will make a stop in Flint at the Whiting. I was amazed when I saw this video of their "lie-down" comedy, as opposed to "stand-up."
