First Frost Art Fair Coming To FIA
October 27, 2011 Saturday, November 5th and Sunday, November 6th are the dates this year for the 6th Annual First Frost Arts & Fine Arts Crafts Fair. This unique two-day arts festival is held inside the Flint Institute of Arts on Kearsley Street. There will be more than 50 hand-selected artists displaying their crafts in wood, fiber , jewelery, glass, ceramics, paintings, mosaics, steel, and mixed media. Listed below are the hours and costs.

Halloween Family Fun Coming To The FIA
October 17, 2011 "Halloween Happenings" is on the agenda for October 29th at the Flint Institute of Arts. It's a fun filled family day that runs from 11am till 4pm. Everyone can join the FIA for a screening of "How To Train Your Dragon" in the FIA Theater from 11-12:30pm.

Stop by to check out the latest exhibits or catch their latest featured film. Tonight is also their annual wine tasting. I went last year and it was a lot of fun. The CSI Exhibit is still going on at the Sloan Museum. The Pierson Doll Collection is also on display at the museum.
