"You're just fat." That's what doctors told 57-year-old Roger Logan. The Mississippi man had become a prisoner in his own home, confined to a recliner as a massive growth made it nearly impossible to move. Finally, doctors discovered that Logan was had actually developed a non-cancerous growth which had its own blood supply.

“I used to equate it, you just put a strap around your neck and carry three bags of cement around with you all day long, just swinging,” Logan said.

After an extensive search, Logan's wife was able to find a doctor who would remove the mass. Doctors tell KBAK they expect him to make a full recovery.
