Woman Recovering After Stabbing at Central Michigan University

Police in Mt. Pleasant say a woman who is a student at Central Michigan University stabbed another woman Monday morning. (7/23)

The altercation took place at the Kewadin Village apartments on the CMU campus.

The victim -- a 21-year-old female -- was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and later released, according to 9 & 10 News. Police have arrested the 26-year-old suspected stabber and another man who was present at the time of the incident.

Two people died earlier this year when a student at CMU shot his parents in Campbell Hall.
